This project began as a recollection of individual photos that were supposed to be leftover and forgotten, in the purpose to make visible what was destined to be invisible while hidden. A creation of a new vision out of what was «about to disappear». This is not about surfacing only but shaping and reconfiguring a view ; a new space which essence lies in the invisible. Out of the different existing departments where i took these photos, i created a new «missing» and «unexisting» department that questions itself. An imaginary and almost deserted tangent out of places that are more or less common and populated.
The lack of contrast and colors through the images, is to develop a sense of uniformity and confusion that could be faded into a blank screen. It serves also to mark these images with a lack of vitality (in the same way a dead body looses its temperature and its skin color in order to become white/grey).
